The Oklahoma State Cowboys have just one loss and are ranked No. 15 in the AP Poll, but one analyst says they have no shot at the national title.
ESPN’s David Pollack appeared on “College Football Live” and said Oklahoma and TCU were the only Big 12 schools with a chance to make the College Football Playoff.
David Pollack only sees #Sooners and TCU as teams out of the Big 12 that still can contend for a playoff spot.

“Oklahoma State’s defense needs to go bye-bye,” Pollack said.
The Cowboys’ defense ranks 59th in the nation in yards per game. That’s good for fourth in the Big 12, but it’s a far cry behind Oklahoma (32) and TCU (29).
Oklahoma State fares worse in scoring defense. The Cowboys are 69th in the country, allowing 26 points per game. That’s seventh in the Big 12, behind teams like 2-2 Iowa State.
The Cowboys took a big step in proving Pollack wrong on Saturday with a win at Texas Tech. They have a bye before playing Baylor on Oct. 14 at home.
