Adarius Lemons sent a tweet Saturday morning suggesting that Florida’s game against Vanderbilt on Saturday would be his last.
The Gators running back used Twitter to send the message shortly before kickoff of Florida’s game against the Commodores at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium. Lemons, a 6-foot, 201-pound freshman from Clearwater, Fla., was a three-star prospect before he signed with Florida in February.
The Gators entered the game Saturday with a 2-1 record and a 2-0 mark in SEC play. SEC Country’s Zach Abolverdi wrote more about Lemons’ recruitment in August.
While in high school, Lemons ran for 2,307 yards and produced 27 total touchdowns (24 rushing).
