GAINESVILLE, Fla. — The No. 21 Florida Gators (2-1, 2-0 SEC) host the Vanderbilt Commodores (3-1, 0-1 SEC) on Saturday for the first of a three-game homestand. Kickoff is set for noon ET and the game will be televised on ESPN.
The Gators are attempting to improve to 3-0 in conference play for the second time in three years, while the Commodores are hoping to shake off their 59-0 beatdown from Alabama last week.
Florida leads 38-10-2 in the series and has won 25 of the past 26 matchups.

Florida-Vanderbilt betting picks
Zach Abolverdi: Florida 31, Vanderbilt 16
With a week’s worth of first-team reps under quarterback Luke Del Rio ‘s belt, the offense should look even better against the Commodores. Florida’s offensive identity — at least for the time being — will start taking shape Saturday in The Swamp.
Jordan McPherson: Florida 21, Vanderbilt 7
The Gators can’t afford to let Vanderbilt hang around for a third straight year, not after last-second wins over both Kentucky and Tennessee in the past two weeks. For once this season, Florida needs a comfortable win. I think they get that comfortable win on Saturday.
Ryan Young: Florida 24, Vanderbilt 10
If Luke Del Rio can keep the Gators in good tempo, minimize the self-inflicted mistakes and contribute a few more of the poise plays he delivered in the fourth quarter last week, I think that’s the complement the Gators need to their bevy of exciting young playmakers — Kadarius Toney, Malik Davis and Tyrie Cleveland.

- Home sweet home: The Gators are 7-0 in SEC play at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium under coach Jim McElwain.
