Just a couple of days after asking for his release from the Miami Dolphins, former Florida offensive lineman Mike Pouncey is heading to the opposite coast.
Pouncey, one of the top centers in the NFL since he entered the league, agreed to a two-year deal with the Los Angeles Chargers on Monday afternoon, the team announced.

Pouncey was an All-American selection during his career in Gainesville, and the Dolphins drafted him 15th overall in 2011.
He had a reliable and productive career in Miami for seven seasons, making three Pro Bowls.
He started all 16 games for the team in three of those seasons, 14 in two others, and 17 total over two other seasons due to injury.
