Former Iowa State G Monte Morris named in docs obtained in FBI corruption investigation

Former Iowa State star Monte Morris is one of many players named in documents related to an FBI investigation into corruption in college basketball.

According to documents obtained by Yahoo Sports’ Pat Forde and Pete Thamel, Morris is listed on expense reports from the agency ASM Sports filed by Christian Dawkins. He is named as one of the players who met, or whose family, met with Dawkins. That would constitute an NCAA violation if Dawkins paid for a meal for Morris or his family while Morris played for the Cyclones.

Former Texas center Prince Ibeh is also listed on the expense reports.

Morris played four seasons at Iowa State, averaging 12.2 points, 5.5 assists and 3.7 rebounds during his collegiate career. He was drafted in the second round of the 2017 NBA Draft by the Denver Nuggets.
