Former Missouri DB Shaun Rupert dismissed from Memphis after arrest

Shaun Rupert’s career at Missouri was short-lived and uneventful. His career at his next school, Memphis, was the former, but after the way it came to an end this week, you can’t say it was the latter.

On Friday, Rupert was dismissed from the Memphis football program following his dismissal for stealing watches, an Xbox, and a computer from another student earlier this year, according to The Commercial Appeal.

A class of 2013 recruit, Rupert redshirted in his first year at Missouri, then made a single tackle as a redshirt freshman before leaving the program. He transferred to Memphis following the Tigers’ 2014 season, where he had earned a starting role in his senior year.
