Former Oregon Ducks safety Patrick Chung is signing an extension with the New England Patriots.
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported on Thursday that Chung signed an extension worth two years and $7.8 million.
Chung has spent most of his career in New England. The Patriots drafted him in the second round of the 2009 NFL Draft out of Oregon. He’s won two Super Bowls with the Patriots.
The former Oregon Duck has 643 tackles and 10 interceptions entering his 10th season in the NFL. He played at Oregon from 2005-2008. The safety was a two-time first-team All-Pac-10 (before conference switched to Pac-12) member.
