Mason Rudolph led Oklahoma State to a dramatic 41-34 win over Texas Tech on Saturday, and FOX analyst Joel Klatt was impressed.

Klatt, who called the matchup with Gus Johnson, raved about the Cowboys quarterback after the game. He said he expects Rudolph to have “a long NFL career.”

Here’s the full quote on Rudolph from Klatt.

“Mason Rudolph is a guy – this guy is going to have a long NFL career. He’s a great player. And in the biggest moments, and I said it with about 8 minutes to go [in the game], I said hey when you get into a game like this, it comes down to a quarterback making plays down the field. And the quarterback that made those plays was Mason Rudolph.”

Klatt has been high on Rudolph since before the season. He ranked Rudolph as the third-best quarterback in college football in his preseason quarterback rankings, and he later predicted Rudolph would win the 2017 Heisman Trophy.

Rudolph finished the night 27-of-38 passing for 376 yards and 3 touchdowns and an interception. He also ran the ball for 50 yards and 2 touchdowns, including the game-winner.

Oklahoma State has an open date this week. After that, Rudolph will get to keep building his resume when the Cowboys host Baylor on Oct. 14.
