The Florida State didn’t have much going offensively against Wake Forest on Saturday. At least until freshman quarterback James Blackman completed the biggest pass of his young college career.
With under a minute to go in regulation and the game tied, freshman quarterback James Blackman completed a 40-yard bomb to junior Auden Tate for the go-ahead touchdown.
Wake Forest put itself into position to tie the game with a Hail Mary, and nearly completed the final pass in the end zone as time expired, but Florida State held on to win, 26-19.
