Welcome to the latest installment of our “Future Gators” series, which looks at the top performers each week from Florida’s commitment list.

Stat line: 457 passing yards and 7 total touchdowns in 56-0 win over Woodrow Wilson  (Long Beach)
Next game: Friday vs. Cabrillo (Long Beach)
Quotable: “Corral threw the ball 32 times in the first half and was 25 of 39 overall for 457 yards and five touchdowns. He also ran for a pair of touchdowns. Corral effectively spread the ball around, hitting eight different receivers. … Poly only threw it seven times in the second half, subbing Corral out after the third quarter and pounding it on the ground.” —  Mike Guardabascio of The Press Telegram

Jacob Copeland, 4-star WR, Escambia (Pensacola, Fla.)

Stat line: Copeland played receiver, running, cornerback, safety and returned punts in Escambia’s 33-21 at Pine Forest  (Pensacola)
Next game: Friday at Navarre  (Navarre, Fla.)
Quotable: “Jacob Copeland has stole the spotlight plenty of times in his prep career, but Friday’s win will stand out. Copeland rarely left the field, assuming his usual role as wide receiver in addition to taking the field as a defensive back for the majority of the game. He also sparked Escambia’s lead with a electrifying, 43-yard punt return for a touchdown.” — Brian Achatz of the Pensacola News Journal
