Gardner Minshew, a graduate transfer out of East Carolina, was expected to join Alabama this summer and play his final season of eligibility in Tuscaloosa. Instead, Minshew will head west and join Washington State.
The quarterback announced on Twitter his decision.

Minshew announced that he would be leaving ECU in January for personal reasons and Alabama was the clear favorite to land his services for the year.
An unique, and unfortunate, quarterback situation in Pullman with the Cougars as Luke Falk graduated and his successor, Tyler Hilinski, committed suicide in January.
