Illinois freshman Da’Monte Williams was cleared for “all basketball activities,” according to coach Brad Underwood on Monday. Williams, a three-star point guard out of Peoria, Ill., has been recovering from a torn ACL.

Per 247Sports, Williams was the No. 6 player in Illinois for 2017 and a top-200 player overall. Indiana also offered him, but the 6-foot-2, 180-pound guard sided with the Fighting Illini in March.

Illinois opens the season against Southern on Nov. 10.
