2018 will mark the 22nd year of the event. The camp is aimed at offering athletes “state-of-the-art education in both Nike Football Training and position-specific football from respected position coaches, while improving each player who attends…” according to the event website.
The camps are taking place across the country through May 5. Two camps have already taken place in Miami, Fla. and Houston, Texas.
Dean, a 3-star prospect in the 247Sports composite rankings, committed to the Cyclones on Feb. 10. He is rated the No. 5 player in Kansas among the 2019 recruiting class and is the No. 16 dual-threat quarterback nationally.
Iowa State football is coming off one of its best seasons in recent memory during 2017. The Cyclones finished 8-5 after posting a 6-2 start, with two wins over AP top-5 opponents before November. Iowa State briefly entered the top 15 of the College Football Playoff rankings in November.
