A winter Olympic gold medal is coming to Eugene.
Oregon’s strength and conditioning coach Jim Radcliffe is holds the same position for the U.S. Women’s National Hockey Team. Team USA defeated Canada 3-2 in a shootout to win the gold medal on Wednesday. That means Radcliffe will be bringing back some hardware when he returns from Pyeongchang, South Korea.
Radcliffe has been the strength and conditioning coach for the U.S. Women’s National Hockey team since December 2016. He’s been the head of Oregon’s strength and conditioning program for over 30 years.
