Kansas State football fans have just one more month to wait before seeing the Wildcats take the field again.
The annual Kansas State Spring Game — formally the Purple/White Spring Game — is scheduled for Saturday, April 21, at Bill Snyder Family Stadium. The game will kick off at 1:10 p.m., and tickets are just $5 for all seats. Fans can be purchase tickets online or on campus.
The Wildcats are coming off an 8-5 season and a win over UCLA in the Cactus Bowl. Bill Snyder and company don’t have a defined quarterback yet, with Alex Delton and Skylar Thompson competing for the starting job. At the spring game, fans should have a chance to see both players in action.
While the Wildcats’ game will of course be the main attraction, there are plenty of other options for entertainment on campus in Manhattan, Kan., that weekend. Former Wildcats punter Nick Walsh will hold a country music concert, a beer garden will be set up on campus and the Kansas State Cheer squad will host their annual kids clinic from 6 p.m. until 8:15 p.m. Friday in the indoor practice facility.
