The TCU Horned Frogs did their part earlier this season to help out teams affected by Hurricane Harvey.

But Kelsey Patterson, wife of TCU head coach Gary Patterson, is going above and beyond.

Patterson is helping lead the charge to provide aid to victims of the recent hurricanes that have devastated the country. She is one of 21 coaches’ wives that are part of “Giving Beyond The Game,” an organization dedicated to natural disaster relief.

Patterson isn’t the only Horned Frog involved. Kate Dykes, wife of TCU co-offensive coordinator Sonny Dykes, is also part of the team.

Other Big 12 significant others involved include Caitlin Riley (Oklahoma), Michelle Herman (Texas), Kerry Gibson (West Virginia) and Sharon Snyder (Kansas State).

The women founded the organization in response to Hurricanes Harvey, Irma and Maria.

All funds donated to Giving Beyond The Game will support the Houston Food Bank, Texas A&M Veterinary Emergency Response Team, Feeding South Florida and various efforts in Puerto Rico. The donations are housed at Communities Foundation of Texas and will be accepted through December 9, 2017.

The organization will also host an online auction beginning November 1.Signed team memorabilia will be available for bidding until November 15.
