Kentucky picked up its second member of the 2019 class Monday night when 3-star outside linebacker prospect KD McDaniel committed to the Wildcats.
McDaniel is a 6-foot-2 and and 222-pound prospect from Tifton, Ga. He joins 4-star safety Keontra Smith as Kentucky’s second commit in the class.
McDaniel is the 54th-ranked outside linebacker in the class and the 743rd-ranked overall prospect, according to the 247Sports composite.
In addition to Kentucky, McDaniel held offers from South Carolina, Central Florida, South Florida, Troy, East Carolina and South Alabama.
Outside linebacker will be a position of need for the Wildcats in 2019 as Kentucky will lose seniors Josh Allen and Denzil Ware following this season.
Kentucky’s two-man class is ranked 34th nationally, according to the 247Sports composite.
