Ohio State basketball ended its regular season on one of the highest notes possible, as C.J. Jackson’s deep 3-pointer with 1 second left helped the Buckeyes defeat Indiana in double overtime at Bloomington Assembly Hall on Friday night.

The heart-pounding victory led to many people expressing their excitement for this team on social media, and ESPN college football analyst Kirk Herbstreit was one of those people. The former Buckeye took to Twitter to share his excitement about the team following the thrilling victory.

Herbstreit wrote:

“Cardiac kids!!!!! @OhioStateHoops finds a way to win in Bloomington in a rare Friday night @B1GMBBall game!! CJ Jackson wins it with a 3 to get the Bucks home with a win in double OT!! Way to battle on the road fellas!!!”

The Ohio State players were excited as well, as the team’s Twitter account released some videos of the team celebrating in the locker room after the win.

With the Big Ten Tournament right around the corner, the Buckeyes currently hold an overall record of 24-7 (15-3 in Big Ten play), and are expected to make a legitimate run at the Big Ten title and make some noise in the NCAA Tournament.
