Latest SI Mock Draft has Denver Broncos trading up to take Baker Mayfield

Albert Breer of Sports Illustrated has laid out a very interesting possibility for the 2018 NFL Draft: the Denver Broncos trading up to snag Baker Mayfield with the No. 4 pick.

In his projection, Cleveland takes Sam Darnold with the No. 1 overall pick. The Buffalo Bills then trade up and take cannon-armed Josh Allen with the No. 2 pick, and the Jets take Josh Rosen at No. 3.

It’s no secret that the Broncos like Mayfield, so Breer has them trading up to take him at No. 4.

Mayfield has been a hot topic lately, and several NFL teams are vying for his services. The former Oklahoma star hosted the Miami Dolphins on Wednesday, and is set to work out for many more teams. Mayfield could go as high as No. 1 in the draft, and he could drop out of the top 10 picks.

The free agency madness in the NFL has definitely helped the upcoming anarchy, and could be a strong factor in Mayfield’s landing spot.
