The previous record was held by Curtis Stinson, who scored at least 20 points in 8 games in the 2003-04 season.
Wigginton’s career high was 30 points, set against Baylor on January 13. The freshman guard also played a big hand
in the Cyclones’ win over Iowa,
with 24 points. When he scores at least 20, the Cyclones are 7-2.
What’s even more impressive is that Wigginton is scoring with efficiency. He’s shooting 40.9 percent from the
field and 43.5 percent from behind the three-point line.
Enjoy game-planning for Wigginton next year, Big 12 teams. He’s only going to get better.
