On Tuesday, the NCAA made its ruling on Auburn forward Danjel Purifoy regarding his eligibility for the 2018-19 season, ruling that he will be able to play after the first 30 percent of the Tigers season.

It didn’t take long for Purifoy, who was forced to sit out all of the 2017-18 season in which Auburn won a share of the SEC regular season title, long to respond to the news.

During the 2016-17 season, Purifoy averaged 11.5 points and 4.7 rebounds per game for the Tigers. With him, alongside Austin Wiley, who also had to sit out this past season, added to the lineup of a team that overachieved this past season and with close to everyone else, if not all of the contributors, returning, this could be a true NCAA title contender next season.
