LOOK: North Carolina’s Theo Pinson perfectly responds to trolling tweet from Duke guard

Theo Pinson-Trevon Duval-Marvin Bagley-Duke-North Carolina-NCAA Tournament

There’s always been bad blood between North Carolina and Duke but social media has added a new wrinkle in this generation.

Texas A&M eliminated defending national champion North Carolina in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.

Meanwhile, after routing Rhode Island in the second round, Duke is Sweet 16 bound for a matchup against ACC foe Syracuse.

Four emojis from Duke freshman guard Trevon Duval set off a Twitter beef that puts the madness of March into a whole other level.

North Carolina senior forward Theo Pinson fired back with a photo of some hardware Duval will need four more wins to attain.

Pinson then got his buddy Joel Berry into the act.

The drama even had Duke freshman forward Marvin Bagley posting his first tweet in two weeks.

Not that anyone needs any reminding but these exchanges are even further proof that North Carolina-Duke is the most savage rivalry in all of college basketball.
