The biggest storyline heading into Texas Tech’s Sweet 16 bout with Purdue is the health of Boilermaker C Isaac Haas. Haas fractured his elbow in Purdue’s first-round win, and is currently not expected to return to the court this season.

In a photo from subreddit r/Purdue, it looks like Purdue engineering has made a suitable brace for Haas, and the probability that the big man plays is moving upward, but the probability he plays is still low.

Haas averages 14.7 points per game, 5.7 rebounds per game, and 0.7 assists per game for the Boilermakers. Purdue is 30-6 on the season, and finished No. 2 in the Big Ten Conference.

Purdue most recently narrowly escaped 10 seed Butler in the second round of the NCAA Tournament, 76-73.
