The Troy Trojans came into Death Valley on Saturday night and beat LSU 24-21. But that probably wasn’t the school’s most disrespectful move of the night.
After the game was over, the official Troy University Twitter account roasted their just-beaten opponent, ‘thanking’ them for having them for LSU’s homecoming:
The Trojans came in and controlled most of this game, leading 10-0 at halftime. Though the Tigers made a second-half comeback behind new QB Myles Brennan, it ultimately wasn’t enough to prevent the upset.
The loss moves the Tigers to 3-2 on the season, while Troy goes to 4-1. Needless to say, this loss is a bad one for first-year head coach Ed Orgeron.
