AJ McCarron was already excited to join the Buffalo Bills. This latest development has the former Alabama quarterback even more thrilled.
On Thursday, McCarron tweeted that he’ll be wearing No. 10 for the Bills, which was the number he wore during his college career with the Crimson Tide. He had worn No. 5 while playing for the Cincinnati Bengals.

McCarron recently agreed to a two-year deal with the Bills, and he’ll likely have an opportunity to be a starter for the first time in his NFL career. He was a backup to Andy Dalton for the past four years with the Bengals.
McCarron was drafted in the fifth round of the 2014 NFL Draft after three seasons as the starting quarterback at Alabama. He led the Crimson Tide to a pair of national championships in 2011 and 2012.
Now that McCarron should be back on the field for all offensive plays — and wearing his old No. 10, nonetheless — it will be interesting to see how the former Alabama standout performs with the opportunity.
