Michigan State WR Felton Davis III earn co-Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week

Wide receiver Felton Davis III’s performance in Michigan State’s 17-10 win over Iowa on Saturday earned him co-Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday. Penn State wide receiver DaeSean Hamilton also won the award.

Davis combined to catch 12 passes for 142 yards and 2 touchdowns in the Spartans’ first three games. Against Iowa, he amassed 114 receiving yards on 9 catches. He also matched his season scoring total with a pair of first-quarter touchdowns.

To compare, Hamilton had 46 yards on 2 catches and a touchdown in Penn State’s 45-14 win against Indiana. His effort on Saturday made him the Nittany Lions’ all-time receptions leader.
