On Sunday, the opportunity to win the Big Ten regular season title outright was ahead of No. 2 Michigan State when the Spartans played Wisconsin.
The Spartans beat the Badgers earlier this season by 15 points, but the game in Madison to close the regular season was much tighter. The Spartans survived the trip to the Kohl Center, however, with a 68-63 victory, securing the No. 1-seed in the upcoming Big Ten Tournament.
After the game ended, Tom Izzo spoke with the media and questions came his way regarding Miles Bridges and Bridges’ mother receiving payments from ASM Sports. Izzo seemed to be pretty confident that his star forward will be able to keep playing the rest of this season.
Izzo said MSU's compliance dept. found the allegation of the $400 payment to be not true and he's confident Bridges will be eligible the rest of the season
