Michigan basketball did it’s talking on the court, but the Michigan Athletics Twitter account did its talking after the Wolverines dropped Texas A&M 99-72 on Thursday in the Sweet 16 of the 2018 NCAA Tournament.

Earlier this week, ESPN had notched the Wolverines as the No. 15 seed in the Sweet 16 and after the Wolverines responded by pounding the Aggies wire-to-wire to go to the Elite Eight, the athletics account made its feelings known.

The story said the Wolverines took down an easy opponent in Montana, which only score 47 points then narrowly topped Houston on a buzzer-beater. Both valid points, but 12 wins in a row including a Big Ten Tournament title speaks for itself.

For what it’s worth, the Aggies were seeded No. 7.

The Wolverines will now look to continue to keep proving ESPN and any other doubters wrong in the Elite Eight.
