Michigan will receive $2.25 million for Amazon docuseries, per reports

Michigan is reportedly set to receive $2.25 million in its deal with Amazon, which will release a docuseries on the Wolverines 2017 football season in January. The Athletic’s Brendan Quinn provided the contract details via Twitter.

This news comes about three weeks after the university announced the deal for the documentary, which will put coach Jim Harbaugh and his top-10 program further into the spotlight. The 8-part series will be available to all Amazon Prime members.

So far, Michigan has lived up to billing and one of the nation’s top teams. The seventh-ranked Wolverines are 4-0 with a win over Florida and a road victory against Purdue. They Wolverines host Michigan State on Saturday night.
