Mississippi State hasn’t had a lot to write home about this past two weekends. But they did get some good news on Saturday in the form of a commitment from Jaden Crumedy.

Crumedy is a 3-star defensive end in the 2018 class and hails from Hattiesburg, Miss. He is the no. 8 ranked prospect in the state, per the 247Sports Composite rankings.

Crumedy also held offers from Ole Miss and Tennessee.

Mississippi State now has 24 commitments in the 2018 class, which is ranked No. 17 in the country.

The Bulldogs are off this week after losing their last two games to Georgia and Auburn. Mississippi State returns to action on Oct. 14 against BYU.
