With the new early signing period in place, prepare for spring official visits. One of the first on deck for LSU will be from one of the nation’s top offensive linemen.
Caedan Wallace, the No. 6-ranked guard in the 2019 class, is scheduled to make an official visit to Baton Rouge on April 28.
The 6-foot-5, 315-pound prospect out of the Hun School (N.J.) has been most closely linked with Penn State. The 4-star lineman is expected to take in the Nittany Lions’ spring game for an unofficial visit the week prior to his trip to the Bayou. He’s been a regular in Happy Valley so far this spring.
Wallace has never been to Baton Rouge before, so it will provide first-year Tigers offensive line coach James Cregg to make a strong first impression on the Polynesian Bowl commit.
LSU holds commitments from two linemen in the 2019 class: 5-star guard Kardell Thomas and 3-star tackle Thomas Perry. The team is hoping to pull in at least four linemen in this recruiting cycle.
