Former Iowa State standout Naz Mitrou-Long is set to see some time among the NBA ranks.
An undrafted rookie that’s spent virtually the entire season with the G-League’s Salt Lake City Stars, Long will sign a 10-day contract with the Utah Jazz, according to a report from Shams Charania of Yahoo! Sports.

To date, Long has seen only one minute with the Jazz earlier in the season when Utah visited the Denver Nuggets, in which Long converted his only three-point attempt. The remainder of his time has been spent with Salt Lake City, where he’s averaging 16.7 points, 6.1 rebounds and 4.6 assists per game in 32 games, including 27 starts.
With the NBA All-Star weekend approaching, Long’s 10-day contract with Utah will see him suit up for the Jazz on Sunday versus Portland, as well as against San Antonio on Monday and Phoenix on Wednesday.
