Ohio State QB J.T. Barrett becomes Buckeyes career passing yards leader, tops Art Schlichter

Ohio State quarterback J.T. Barrett is looking down at every other Buckeyes QB in the record books.

During Ohio State’s game against Rutgers on Saturday night, Barrett passed Art Schlichter to become the Buckeyes’ all-time leader in passing yards. Schlichter, who played for the Buckeyes from 1978-81, passed for 7,547 yards.

Now Barrett is No. 1.

Barrett topped 200 yards in the first half and broke the record on a 13-yard throw to wide receiver Terry McLaurin.
