Ohio State will be without DL Dre’Mont Jones for Saturday’s road game against Rutgers.
The Buckeyes announced Saturday evening that Jones sustained a leg injury this week after a practice. Jones could be out for more games besides the Rutgers game.
After Rutgers, Ohio State plays Maryland on October 7 and plays at Nebraska on October 14.

The 6-foot-3, 295-pound Jones is a redshirt sophomore. Jones had started the first four games of the season for the Buckeyes. He had 7 total tackles with 3 tackles for loss.
Last season, Jones played in all 13 games, making 52 total tackles with 4 tackles for loss. He started the final 12 games of the season as Ohio State made the College Football Playoff.
RB Antonio Williams is also dealing with an injury. DB Erick Smith did not travel with the Buckeyes, though a reason has yet to be given.
