Sampson James joins Ohio State’s 2019 recruiting class
Ohio State’s 2019 recruiting class got a little bit bigger Monday night when 4-star running back Sampson James committed to the Buckeyes. James, an Avon, Ind., native, is one of the highest rated tailbacks in the 2019 class — and for good reason. Land of 10 recruiting expert Ryan Donnelly broke down what James’ commitment means for Urban Meyer’s program. Donnelly described James’ commitment as a huge recruiting win for Ohio State that gives the Buckeyes another physical offensive weapon with big play ability.
Ohio State women lose to Central Michigan in NCAA Tournament
Ohio State women’s basketball season was ended by Central Michigan on Monday night at St. John Arena. The Buckeyes got upset in the second round of the NCAA Tournament as the 11th-seeded Central Michigan outscored them 58-31 in the middle two quarters of a 95-78 loss.

Ohio State finished 28-7, but it was a bitter ending to a season that featured Big Ten regular season and tournament titles.
Ryan Shazier says he believes he’ll ‘definitely’ play football again
Ryan Shazier provided an update on his rehab from a career-threatening spine injury in an interview with Pittsburgh television station KDKA last weekend. The former Ohio State linebacker said he believes he will “definitely” play football again. Shazier was injured while trying to make a tackle in early December. He had spine stabilization surgery a few days later and was hospitalized for nearly two months.
“I’m taking it one step at a time, but I know the Lord, he has a plan for me, and I definitely feel like I’ll be back out there,” Shazier said.
