C.J. Saunders readies for bigger role in 2018
Ohio State returns a lot of production at wide receiver, so it’s easy to overlook a player like C.J. Saunders. But Saunders is going to keep working his way into Ohio State’s passing game in 2018. The wideout, who walked on at Ohio State, has added nearly 10 pounds already this offseason. The bigger Saunders is ready for a bigger role, Land of 10’s Austin Ward explains.
“I needed to get more explosive, needed to be able to help in the run game, and I can already feel that just after the first couple practices,” said Saunders, who had 17 catches for 221 yards and a touchdown in 2017. “I’m up in weight, and I feel stronger, faster.”

Brown was a two-way end at Ohio State in 1955-57 and was on the Buckeyes’ 1957 national championship team. Brown went on to be an oral surgeon in the Air Force, according to The Associated Press, and retired as a colonel after 20 years.
Urban Meyer expressed his condolences on Twitter.
