Oklahoma gets back a couple of big pieces on both sides of the ball this week against Iowa State, but it’s losing some depth at linebacker.
Sooners starting free safety Will Johnson is back after clearing concussion protocol, according to DieHards’ Joe Buettner. He had been out since the Ohio State game in Week 2. Backup guard Cody Ford is back after missing the past two games with an undisclosed injury.
Unfortunately for the Sooners’ defense, backup will linebacker Curtis Bolton is done for the year after suffering an ankle injury that will require surgery.
Will Johnson, Robert Barnes, Cody Ford, Amani Bledsoe are back.
Matt Romar, game time decision.
Curtis Bolton is out for the season.
