Oklahoma State breaks out sharp alternate look for Texas Tech

The Oklahoma State Cowboys didn’t use a massive social media push to unveil this week’s jerseys, they just showed up in them.

That’s black helmets with the Pistol Pete logo, white jerseys with black numerals and orange trim, and gray pants. All in all, not a bad look for Oklahoma State.

The Cowboys are going to be in for a tough game against Texas Tech. The Red Raiders are undefeated and looking to prove themselves against the vaunted Oklahoma State offense.

If the Cowboys are going to take this one home, they’ll need to hit lots of big plays against the typically bad Texas Tech defense. If their offense can get untracked, it’ll be a long night for the Red Raiders. They can’t afford to go slow, the new look Texas Tech offense in the post Patrick Mahomes era is much more methodical under new quarterback Nic Shimonek.

Oklahoma State isn’t out of the playoff hunt yet, but they cannot afford to lose a single more game if they want to remain in it.
