Oklahoma transfer Chris Robison suspended from FAU football team

Former Oklahoma QB Chris Robison has been suspended by Lane Kiffin of FAU, according to Paxton Boyd of ESPN West Palm.

Kiffin says the suspension is only day-to-day, but that Robison “hurt himself and the team.”

Robison was arrested and charged with public intoxication in April 2017, and was dismissed from Oklahoma’s program in August for violating team rules. He is a former four-star QB recruit from Texas.

Oklahoma opens the 2018 season against FAU. Robison is expected by some to be the Owl’s starter.

The Sooners will be breaking in a new quarterback as well, and the selection is likely to be Kyler Murray.

Robison and Baker Mayfield have exchanged barbs on social media, adding fuel to the fire of the season-opening game.
