Oregon WR Alex Ofodile transferring to Missouri

Wide receiver Alex Ofodile is leaving Eugene.

Ofodile has decided to transfer from Oregon to seek more playing time, per  Matt Prehm of DuckTerritory.com. He is transferring to Missouri where his father, A.J., is the school’s receivers coach.

Ofodile was a former standout receiver in high school in Missouri. He decision to go back home should bode well for him. He has two more years of eligibility.

The 6-foot-2 wide receiver played in 12 games over the course of two seasons. He caught 4 passes for 31 yards with the Ducks.

Ofodile wasn’t expected to be a major contributor for Oregon this coming season. Realizing that, he decided to transfer in hopes of more playing time.
