Oregon Ducks fans react to Justin Herbert reportedly breaking his collarbone

Justin Herbert-Injury-Collarbone-Oregon

With Oregon Ducks starting quarterback Justin Herbert reportedly suffering a broken collarbone, there’s a lot to digest for fans in Eugene.

Through five games — including his short outing against Cal on Saturday night that was cut short because of the injury — Herbert had tossed for 9 touchdowns and 1,264 yards while only being charged with 2 interceptions.

Taylor Alie replaced Herbert, but even he suffered an injury and Braxton Burmeister had to fill in for him. Who will lineup under center against Washington State in Week 6 is anybody’s best guess.

There’s no doubt Herbert had become a fan-favorite for the Ducks, and his loss reverberated that sentiment.
