Washington State is undefeated and coming off arguably the best win of the Mike Leach Era. The Oregon Ducks have limped their way to a 4-1 record after being withered to a third-string quarterback and fifth-string running back in a dominant Week 5 win over Cal.
The two teams appear, on paper, relatively evenly-matched, and Vegas thinks so as well, setting Oregon as a two-point underdog for the opening line.
In the most recent AP poll, Washington State moved up to No. 11. Oregon, which had been No. 24 prior to an unexpected loss to Arizona State in Week 4, remains unranked.
The Cougars have covered three weeks in a row after failing to do so in their first two games. Oregon has covered three out of five games this season.
