Penn State tight end Mike Gesicki is expected to play Saturday vs. Northwestern despite an undisclosed injury suffered last weekend against Indiana.
Head coach James Franklin told reporters Tuesday he expects Gesicki to see the field, but was tight-lipped when it came to details like how many snaps Gesicki could see, per Land of 10’s Tyler Donohue.

Gesicki ranks tied for second on the team in receptions with 20, behind only Saquon Barkley’s 27 and is tied for the team lead in receiving touchdowns with four. He leads all Penn State tight ends in career receptions with 92.
