Penn State is ramping up the intensity in spring practice, with the team’s first day of contact set for tomorrow. In the spirit of physicality, coach James Franklin posted a hilarious video to Twitter of his daughter, Shola, bringing the pain to a set of tackling sleds.

The video, which Franklin has posted to Twitter multiple times, features his daughter, Shola, barreling into a series of sleds, punctuating each ‘tackle’ with a mean scream. Franklin, presumably recording, intersperses the hits with chants of “Yes!”
As the video nears a close, Shola channels the men her father coaches, shouting: “We are Penn State! We are Penn State! Thank you! You’re welcome!”
This isn’t the first time Shola has showed her affection for her father’s team. Back in December, she showed up to a Nittany Lions practice dressed like quarterback Trace McSorley.
Franklin isn’t shy about making sure his family feels connected to Penn State, and vice versa. Last November several Nittany Lions players and assistants visited his house for Thanksgiving, and Franklin was clear about how he wished his guests to conduct themselves in front of his family.
“I’m hoping that they’ll come and slobber on my couch, and eat turkey, and just chill,” he said.
