Penn State tight end Mike Gesicki was helped off the field by trainers after suffering an injury against Indiana on Saturday.
He came out after making an 11-yard reception with 4:23 left in the second quarter. He was hit in the ribs as he went down after making the catch. Gesicki walked and jogged on the sideline, then went into the medical tent. He did not play in the second half.
Penn State’s senior tight end had 17 receptions for 148 yards and 4 touchdowns heading into the game. He had 3 catches for 19 yards before going out against Indiana.
