Saquon Barkley returned Indiana’s opening kickoff for a touchdown to put Penn State on top from the start on Saturday, and with under five minutes left to go in the game, he scored another unconventional touchdown.
Barkley took a pitch from QB Trace McSorley, ran to his right, and just before he got to the line of scrimmage, tossed the ball to DaeSean Hamilton, who ran it in for a touchdown.

That’s Barkley’s first career touchdown pass. He is, of course, a running back and not a quarterback.
Indiana has largely limited Barkley on the day. He only had 56 yards on 20 carries against the Hoosiers. Still, Penn State comfortably won by a margin of 45-14.
