NFL teams send general managers, coaches, and scouts to Pro Days to evaluate players as they go through similar workouts to the NFL combine, such as the 40-yard dash, various weightlifting, shuttle and cone drills, and position specific drills. Often NFL head coaches or assistants will put the players through the drills themselves.
Every draft-eligible player from a school will usually participate in his the Pro Day, which are even more beneficial for the seniors and underclassmen who did not receive invites to the combine.
