Jeff Brohm has rounded out Purdue football’s coaching staff. The Boilermakers added Mark Tommerdahl as the team’s 10th assistant coach, they announced Saturday.
Tommerdahl will coach special teams and tight ends at Purdue.
Tommerdahl has 34 years of college coaching experience, according to Purdue’s press release. He was the special teams coordinator and running backs coach at Utah State in 2017. Tommerdahl also has coaching stops at Cal, Louisiana Tech and Texas A&M.
Brohm is entering his second season in West Lafayette. Purdue went 7-6 in Brohm’s first season, and the Boilermakers were victorious over Arizona in the Foster Farms Bowl. The seven wins were the most Purdue had since the 2011 season.
