Mayfield worked out for the Dolphins privately at the University of Oklahoma.
There could be a chance that Mayfield falls out of the top 10 picks in the 2018 NFL Draft with all the quarterback moves in the NFL offseason.
The Dolphins aren’t the only team that will give Mayfield a private workout. The New York Jets, the New Orleans Saints, and the Cleveland Browns will work him out. Mayfield will also reportedly meet with the Denver Broncos and the Arizona Cardinals.
Mayfield had nothing short of a stellar career at Oklahoma, passing for 12,292 yards and 119 touchdowns during his three years starting for the Sooners.
In his senior year, he passed for 4,627 yards and 43 touchdowns, and won the Heisman Trophy in the process. In addition to college football’s most prestigious award, he also picked up unanimous All-American honors and tons of hardware from nearly every award in the country.
