It never rains in Southern California. At least that’s what Tony Toni Tone. We now know that not to be true. USC quarterback Sam Darnold might deal with rainy conditions on Wednesday.
Rain is in the forecast for Wednesday in Los Angeles. Rain or shine, Darnold will throw at the USC Pro Day, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Darnold decided not to throw at the 2018 NFL Scouting Combine. His choice not to partake in all the drills drew some criticism. Yet, he is still projected to be a top 10 pick in the 2018 NFL Draft.
Inclement whether might be a blessing in disguise for Darnold. The Cleveland Browns own the No. 1 overall pick in this year’s draft and are looking for a quarterback (as they are every year). Bad weather comes with the territory in Cleveland.
